The fear of the Lord is not a fear of terror, but a holy reverence, honour, and deep respect for God. It is the expression of our genuine love for Him. When we truly love the Lord, we desire not to grieve His heart but to please Him in every area of our lives. A person who fears the Lord delights in obeying His Word and keeping His commandments. As Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15. Our obedience is evidence of our love for Him. The more the fear of the Lord grows in our hearts, the deeper our relationship with Him becomes. His love is firmly established in us, and His grace gives us victory over every stronghold and every bondage of sin. The Holy Spirit continually transforms us into the likeness of Christ, enabling us to walk in righteousness, holiness, and obedience. The fear of the Lord also brings wisdom, divine direction, protection, and the blessings of God. It keeps us from the path of destruction and leads us into a life that honours Him. As we continue to walk in the fear of the Lord, our lives will increasingly reflect His glory, and His light will shine through us for others to see. May the Lord fill our hearts with a holy fear that produces wisdom, unwavering obedience, and steadfast love for Him. May He strengthen us to resist every temptation, break every chain of sin, and help us live lives that glorify His holy name. As we walk faithfully with Him, may His light continue to shine through us, so that others may see His goodness and be drawn to Christ in Jesus mighty name.

Beloved, please give Jesus a chance in your life today and your life will never remain the same again but to move from glory to glory.
